What to Expect During the Appointment
First, your hair is washed with a clarifying shampoo — we use Lasio Professional, which preps the hair by removing any buildup so the treatment can absorb evenly. From there, the keratin formula is applied section by section and then sealed in with a flat iron. The heat is what locks everything in and gives you that glass-smooth finish.
Plan for about 2 to 3 hours depending on your hair’s length and thickness. It’s a process worth sitting through.
How Long Does It Last?
Generally speaking, a keratin treatment lasts anywhere from 3 to 5 months. After that, your hair won’t suddenly revert — it gradually softens back to its natural texture over time. To get the most out of it, use sulfate-free shampoo and avoid chlorine and saltwater as much as possible.
